Bohol, Philippines

Refrain:  God, renew the earth through planting seeds and pouring your Holy Spirit unto all of creation

Verse 1:

O Spirit, please bear witness to our afflictions and wounds

Made from the storms of injustice and conquest

From floods of despair and disempowerment

From the weight of destitution, abandonment and neglect

Refrain: God, renew the earth through planting seeds and pouring your Holy Spirit unto all of creation

Verse 2:

O God, nourish and liberate the world’s wonders

The white sands and clear waters of Boracay

The dark and majestic tunnels of the Underground River

The power and glory of Taal Volcano and Lake

Refrain: God, renew the earth through planting seeds and pouring your Holy Spirit unto all of creation

Verse 3:

O Spirit, plant seeds of love and freedom in our hearts

So that we can share and give our fruits to one another

We grow and bear fruit together in the midst of brokenness

Not through luck, not through fate but through the Spirit

Refrain: God, renew the earth through planting seeds and pouring your Holy Spirit unto all of creation

Verse 4:

O God, pour down clean water from the heavens

Bring to life the grains of rice in the fields

Ripen all of the fruit trees throughout the islands

So that our lives will be nourished with dignity

Refrain: God, renew the earth through planting seeds and pouring the Holy Spirit on to all of creation
