No Space is a Safe Space (Ep. 43)

At first glance, you would think online content moderation is a straightforward (albeit thankless) job—ensure inappropriate content is removed and maintain community guidelines. But it quickly became clear to PAAC's moderators Gloria, Stella, and Surani that moderating necessarily meant asking deeper questions about what PAAC is meant to be, and who it is for.

In today's episode, we talk to PAAC's moderators who reveal what happens behind the curtains when making enforcement decisions, why PAAC isn't the best forum for debates, why PAAC bans "dirty deleting," and much more. Thank you so much to Gloria Hu, Stella Won Phelps, and Surani Joshua for all the work you do, and for coming on the podcast. And thank you everyone for listening!
